How do I fix my WordPress installation?

MySQL.com has a great back/restore solution at http://mysql.com/products/tools/administrator/ This will allow you to create and restore backups of your database in a matter of minutes, you only need to set up the settings once and then you can do a restore/backup whenever you need to.
